Busy Bee’s team is patient, helpful and responsive. We use them for taxes and accounting guidance. Julie works hard to keep things smooth and timely, and the whole team is great.
DO NOT WORK WITH BUSY BEE ADVISORS. I can't emphasize enough what a horrible experience it was. I used them for two years and for the first year everything seemed fine. This past year, everything took a turn. I prepaid for a year up front (like I did the previous year) but my books were not kept up to date. I wouldn't get a report until months after. When I would show that something was done incorrectly, I would not hear back or I would hear back and it would not be corrected. Then in June they took out over $1,000 in fees directly from my bank account. When I asked what it was for, they said it is something they have to do from time to time to keep my books up to date. Listen, I understand that sometimes there are additional fees, but I have evidence that my books were not up to date after this money was effectively stolen from me. Also $1,000 is ridiculous to call a fee when I already prepaid for the year and that fee represented like 8 months worth of bookkeeping alone. They then sent me a quote for bookkeeping services on a "fixed" contract that was twice what I was initially paying for the past 2 years. I couldn't believe it. I am already on a fixed contract, I prepaid for the year... They must have a lot of turnover because I got assigned several bookkeepers during the time I was working with them. This meant there was no consistency and the only constant point of contact was Juli who is the middle man. She is the only one who would respond to any of my emails but couldn't help with anything because she wasn't the one doing the books. Melissa the owner never even took the time to respond to my emails this year when I expressed my dissatisfaction with the service I was receiving. I have now had to hire another bookkeeper to go back and fix the horrible mess they created who is shocked at how things were being tracked. Not only were they not responsive, and did a horrible job, but they effectively stole over $1,000 from me. I am now seeing other people's reviews of them doing the same thing so I needed to add my own voice to warn others of their practices. I also used Eric as my CPA and was pretty dissatisfied with the level of service I received for the amount of money I paid to incorporate. Please stay far away from this business. It is very clear to me why they have an F on the better business bureau (wish I had seen that before I hired them). I would give 0 stars if I could.
Extremely disappointed with the service from this tax advisory office. Despite repeated emails and follow-ups, Melissa and Jules were not helpful at all, and almost nothing was accomplished. Communication was nonexistent, deadlines were missed, and I felt completely unsupported throughout the process. This has been a very frustrating experience, and I would strongly caution anyone considering their services.
I would strongly advise anyone to stay away from this firm. Emails and phone calls go unanswered, and they consistently failed to fulfill even the most basic parts of the service agreement. For over half a year, they were not able to provide a single monthly report. When I finally decided to cancel the agreement due to their lack of service, they showed no concern at all. Melissa and Jules have proven to be completely unreliable and incompetent, and the overall service has been extremely disappointing. Save yourself the frustration and look for a tax advisor who actually communicates and delivers on their commitments.
This was the worst customer service experience I had in my life. I had high hopes when we started with BusyBee but once we were a couple months in I kept getting surprise bills that were way more than the cost stated in my contract. They were unable to explain the charges or tell me how to prevent them. after 6 months I had paid more than my contract for the year was valued at. It was at that time I decided to move on. Then there has been considerable issue leaving. Overall my trust is broken and I do not recommend anyone use this company.
