The atmosphere is great thanks to the trees nearby. However, service was not too great. I had to wait nearly 30 minutes for food although it was not too crowded. But the most disappointing thing was the food itself. I ordered a dish having sadines with two slices of toast with some herbs. The problem was that the toasts were too hard, causing several minor cuts inside my oral cavity, completely destroyed my experience. Taste can be subjective depending on every customer, but experience cannot be biased.

Toast barely toasted, poached eggs paper thin cooked layer a sloppy semi raw mess. Bacon cooked one side not the other so greasy such a waste of really good food it was served minutes after ordering. Have been here before had a great experience this time very very poor

Visited for lunch on a Thursday. The place had a nice ambience and wasn’t too crowded, which made for a comfortable experience. We sat inside as it was a bit too windy outdoors. Service was great—staff were friendly and attentive. I ordered the bacon toastie and requested no onion jam, but was told it couldn’t be modified as it’s premade and simply reheated, which was a bit disappointing. The bacon was also too hard for my liking. I had a mocha, which was just okay. My friend ordered the chilli eggs, and honestly, her dish looked much more appetising than mine.

We decided to have a friend’s birthday brunch there but I did not book in advanced(my own problem) Unfortunately, the service wasn’t good. I requested a table for five and waited at least 15 minutes, but guests who arrived later simply went to the empty tables. We ended up squeezing into a small one. After that, we placed our order and HAD TO WAIT 45 minutes to be served;) matcha was watery, foods were good overall

Amazing brunch at Cafe Troppo ! The service was fantastic and the staff very friendly. The food selection was interesting and varied, we had a hard time choosing with so many great dishes on the menu. Both out meals were delicious. Highly recommend !
