I liked the good variety on the menu and plenty of parking. I got the Mentaiko Pasta which was fairly tasty, balanced, and the bread that came with it was toasted and delish. Also had the Curry Rice which was on the meatier end so not the typical Japanese sweetness which was a plus and the katsu. All the portions were small for the average texan. Strawberry Matcha Latte was quiet expensive considering adding oat milk made it $9.50, not the most amazing drink. I would not try the items again, but would consider coming back to try some other things on the menu.

It’s a small and cozy cafe. Loved the matcha and pork curry rice, both were delish. It would’ve been even better if they had wifi, but I’ll definitely coming here more often!!

This place is such a cute little cafe. The matcha and hojicha are really great and flavorful and not too sweet. The spicy chicken katsu sando and chicken katsu curry were freshly fried and had a nice spice level. The ladies working were very sweet and got us our order very quickly even tho it was during the lunch rush. I wish i lived closer so i could come here more often lol

A little touch of Japan in Irving! This cozy cafe reminded me of Japan. The egg sando was similar to the ones you get from 7/11 in Japan! They have a wide variety of sando selections from sweet to savory. The matcha was excellent. It was the perfect balance of peach and matcha. If you’re needing your Japanese food fix, this is the place to go!

Cafe Hana is great! Price is a little steep for certain items but really good for certain items? My spicy katsu was a little dry and probably was not worth $13, but the gyudon, udon & sides definitely were. The egg salad was great and plenty for $3 as a side, and the earl grey hojicha was GREAT, debatable for $8.5 but that's just how good coffee/tea is thesedays really, I have seen worse. The panna cotta was amazing and definitely worth the 5 bucks imo. The vibe is great, quiet, vintage, chill. Plenty of plugs but no wifi lol. The staff however, was incredibly amazing. Like truly great! Everyone was super nice & attentive, and I got offered more ice for my coffee after I left briefly & came back. They even pulled the dessert out to show me and explain the flavors because their fridge was just a little foggy. Overall, very impressed! I've been here several times and I love the fruit sandwiches as well as most of the drinks here. Pretty dang authentic food overall and good dessert. It's not cheap but overall not abusive pricing, just pick what you want really, knowing the sandos can run a little steep. Definitely recommend if you are in the area!
