Calgary Professional Movers Inc did a great job with our move. The crew showed up on time, worked efficiently, and took good care of our belongings. Everything was handled professionally, and the whole process was smooth and stress-free. They communicated clearly, worked hard, and finished on schedule with no issues or surprises. Overall, a solid experience and great service. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable movers in Calgary.

The team consisting of Toby, Ife and Nosa were WONDERFUL!! Outstanding professionalism, handled my furniture which included a baby piano, with tender loving care!! I've never had any company care for my belongings so well! In addition to this I had my belongings in storage for almost 1 week and nothing was missing, scratched or harmed. ~Update after owner response: I emailed asking what this full refund on damaged items he claims he provided was. Replacement would be >$2000. No sir, you two uses of “damage” are not both “accounting” words.~ Calgary Pro Movers completed a move for my partner and I including belongings from my partner’s condo and my townhouse. The experience was unprofessional, inefficient, and charged hourly. When I emailed the Charles (the owner) with my concerns, I had to follow up to discuss. When he did call, at no point did he indicate that any problem was outside the normal quality of his company’s work. Instead he provided excuses to justify each issue. After about 30 minutes on the phone with myself and my partner he says “Thomas, you are a man. You understand.” Thomas asked what he understands. Charles: “We all know who is paying for this move.” He continued down this path describing a man’s very high responsibility and stresses in life. (And yes, I, the woman, booked/paid for this move...) Charles did provide us a $440 refund on our $2400 move and offered to fix our furniture (which I have declined based on my experience with the company). It came with a clear insinuation that we were suggesting that his trainee not get paid – which we were repeatedly clear was not our request. Some examples contributing to our poor moving experience: • No information provided ahead of time about what was required for packing standards, what is accepted/not accepted, or other preparations. • Communication from the crew was extremely limited, with any responses being short and uninformative. • Immediately upon arrival, the crew knocked off an exterior light and ran into a yellow post while parking in the condo alley. • The crew was made up of two more experienced movers and one who was clearly brand new and still being trained. The trainee required instruction on basic items like using the dolly. He was clearly not used to the physical demands of the job. Further, when he was helping to move furniture, the process was very slow as he did not yet understand what angles to use in tight spaces. • One of the movers attempted to purchase a used car in front of the house where he was meant to be unloading our belongings. • A bed frame that we disassembled prior to the movers’ arrival was broken while being moved from the condo. The movers did not wrap or otherwise package the item to protect it, but following the breakage the movers told us that they weren’t supposed to move fragile items. • I was clear with the Charles about the volume of belongings in each residence, but the movers indicated that the 26 foot truck was too full to fit the townhouse contents after loading from the condo, leading to an extra 90+ minutes of transport time. Charles did not indicate that this truck would be tight on space or ask for further clarification, so this was a surprise. • The 9% fuel surcharge on my entire bill was not included in any quotes or contracts prior to the movers’ arrival on the day of the move. • Another bed frame’s pull-out drawers were damaged when they were removed, with several bearings on one slider entirely falling out – despite my request that the drawers be left in. • One IKEA shelf was badly scratched – indicating that it was poorly or not wrapped. • No runners were used on the floor of my townhouse, and runners were only placed halfway into the front room and halfway up/down the stairs at the final destination. • Unloaded items were left in heaps of mixed furniture/boxes in each room, with zero ask how we would like any of our furniture placed or if we would like it reassembled. • Upon arrival, many boxes clearly labelled “garage” were moved into the house – adding a time to re-move it all into the garage • The full move went from 8AM to 7PM despite both me and my partner having disassembled all furniture except the sectional and pre-packing all the boxes, as well as participating in moving boxes • In the afternoon I heard the movers complaining to each other that their boss was trying to assign them another move later that night.

Must-Hire Movers! Best in Calgary, No Question!! If you're moving ANYTHING in Calgary, you absolutely need to hire these guys! These folks are the real deal, hands down the best moving company in the city! From start to finish, they blew us away with their professionalism, strength, and care. They offered the best price I could find in the city especially how last minute the request was and their crew was incredible. They were friendly, efficient, and super respectful! They understood what was required and they made the whole process feel easy and stress-free! They showed up right on time, worked hard, and went the extra mile to help out wherever they could. It's clear they take pride in what they do, and it shows in every part of their service. Seriously though, if you want to shop around, go for it, but I highly recommend, Calgary Professional Movers!
