Divyesh and Kirit have been absolutely fantastic, I have now been running for over a year and there have been teething problems. But Divyesh has ironed a lot of that out now and I think we are getting into our groove. For new business a lot of what people want is some early guidance. Some cheat sheet, step guidance documents could make things a lot smoother for new business.

Called to move accountant in Glasgow got put through to the Edinburgh office! The receptionist was soo rude, unhelpful and absolutely clueless! I said "bro" and she got offended! It's a shame the accountant try so hard but hiring cheap I'm in experienced receptionist is a let down! I was looking to bring 4 of my businesses over to this firm! Glad I never! Ps please train your staff they are the first contact with the company as you know first impressions matter the most I'm out bro

In circa 4 years - I have never met anyone personally from Callan/Stephen Ward. However the work from Magda & Kirit has been excellent from a personal & corporate tax perspective.

I have had a terrible experience with Callan group. When I first made my enquiry with them they were very helpful and responsive - a lot like the 5 star reviews on here. I am a private individual who required help with submitting some Self-Assessment forms. I was asked to make payment in advance, which I did. After the payment was made nothing happened. I struggled to get any responses despite regularly checking in to ask for progress. I kept getting automated emails asking me to fill in a particular detail (UTR number) in my paperwork, which I did not have. I had asked Callan how to obtain one, and I have an email trail showing explicitly that they told me they would organise the application for a UTR themselves. I did everything I was asked promptly, including posting the necessary form from the HMRC website. I phoned and emailed about this issue with no success. The automated emails kept coming. After several months, I asked for my money back. My emails were completely ignored. After several more phone and email attempts, I ended up submitting a claim via the Sherriff court and the decision was made in my favour that Callan must refund me my money + interest and expenses. I am now waiting for them to respect the decision of the court and pay. So it goes without saying that I do not recommend this company. At no point, over the year it took for this to unfold, did Stephen Ward or other colleagues bother to pick up the phone and speak to me to try and resolve this despite me asking repeatedly for a conversation. A huge and stressful disappointment - I paid hundreds of pounds for their services and they carried out absolutely none - zero - of the work.

Stephen has been excellent from the beginning. Explained everything from top to bottom and is always available either by phone or email regarding my Ltd company. Expedited my self assesment in order for me not to incur any HMRC charges an unfroze my bank account. Very freindly and very professional. Overall i would recommend and satisfied with Callan Group!
