More of a review of a teacher than the Studio as a whole but unfortunately they support her and so they go hand in hand. Quick review of a long term situation regarding one instructor at Calliope Music Studios. To sum it up I would not recommend Anna Lutsky. Having three children use her as an instructor I can say that she does know the piano well. However she is very inflexible with her schedule, demands make up lessons no matter the reason and is NOT kid friendly. You may be asking why we stuck it out with her and didn't just switch after the first child. I ask myself that as well. Quite frankly, discipline is important but there is a line. That line was crossed when my 11 year ago boy was brought to tears. More than once. And both boys started to dread going to lessons. Additionally, Mrs. Lutsky refused to refund the 6 lessons we prepaid for. This is after politely trying to work around a impossible schedule and after being customers for 5 plus years. We tried. We gave up. The positives in regards to her experience do not offset the negatives. Just one guys opinion. Good luck on your search.

Mr. Uri is a great piano teacher that has been teaching my daughter for almost a year. He interacts with my daughter very well. Because of him, my daughter loves her piano classes and is always looking forward to it. And everyone is just so nice in this studio.

I have went here longer than 3 yoars, and the saxaphone instructor Nemo has been an integral part of my life since we met. It is very close nit and cozy, and it is a relaxing overall environment to be in. I also like their music bin, as I found many great things in there.

I have taken lessons here since I was in 6th grade and it was great. Lou Novak was my piano teacher and he is very knowledgeable and cares about his students. He even gave me a parting gift because I'm going to college and won't be able to continue my lessons with him. Overall, a great experience and I would recommend anyone here. The whole group of teachers there are very nice and are open to teaching you and even tightening their craft to better your education of the instrument you are learning.
