Angel did an outstanding job with my dog, Vita! She was so reactive to other dogs and people, but after Angel took her through his 3 week training, she is so good in public! This is her practicing her Place/Down at The Pearl this evening.

We are absolutely over the moon with how well the program worked!! Alexis truly cares for the animals she is working with and takes the training very seriously! She sends report cards out Monday, Wednesday and Fridays, and she is so detailed and honest! She lets you know where they are excelling and where they still need work. She attaches photos and videos of her working with your pets and it’s amazing to see! We met up at La Cantera to do some training and to show me how to work with them moving forward, Alexis made it so easy! She explained everything so perfectly and made it so easy for me to recreate the commands! She made me feel confident and so excited to continue their training at home!! We are so happy!!
We are beyond grateful for Angel’s wonderful work with our 6-month old Labradoodle Henry. We really appreciated the consistent updates with photos and videos during the course of the training so we could be a part of all of his adventures around San Antonio. Henry has been doing great and all of us have gained confidence through this process. It is apparent that Angel is passionate about training dogs and us owners alike. We highly recommend Camp Lucky to anyone looking for help training their dog!
I cannot say enough great things about Angel! He worked with my five-month-old golden retriever, and the results were beyond impressive. My pup went from being a wild, excitable ball of energy to a well-mannered, responsive companion all thanks to Angel’s patient, consistent, and kind approach. Angel clearly understands dog behavior and was just as great at training me as the owner! He explained each step of the process, provided helpful tips I could use at home, and were always available for questions. If you’re looking for someone who genuinely cares about your dog and delivers real results, Angel is the one. Highly recommend to anyone needing a skilled and trustworthy trainer!
We had an incredible experience with our dog’s training, thanks to Angel at Camp Lucky's San Antonio location. After researching several trainers, comparing prices, and evaluating expertise, we chose Camp Lucky and couldn’t have made a better decision. From the moment we called for information, Aaron the owner provided a 10/10 experience. They patiently walked us through the entire process without pressuring us, ensuring we felt confident and informed about their program. When it came to training, Angel was exceptional. As first-time dog owners, we were nervous about leaving our dog, Hunner, for the two-week program. Angel went above and beyond to meet with us beforehand, listen to our concerns, and develop a personalized training plan tailored to Hunter’s needs and our goals. His professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to connect with both us and Hunner put our minds at ease. I loved the idea of Angel providing us with reports, pictures, and videos throughout the duration of the program. It made us feel that the program was really working! Before training, Hunter was a lovable but overly energetic rescue pup. We got him at around 8 to 9 months old, he struggled with hyperactivity, leash biting, and difficulty settling down. Walks were stressful and avoided in public settings, we couldn’t enjoy time on the couch without him biting us wanting to play or throwing tantrums. Previous attempts at training, including group sessions at PetSmart, were unsuccessful and left us feeling discouraged that we could ever enjoy having a puppy we could take out in public or even relax in our own home. Angel’s training transformed Hunner into a completely different dog. By the end of the program, Hunner was calm, focused, and well-behaved. We could finally relax as a family in our home, enjoy peaceful walks, and even take him to public places with confidence. The true test came during the holiday season when we flew on a four-hour flight with Hunner. His impeccable behavior amazed everyone, from airport staff to fellow passengers. He remained calm, quiet, and on command throughout the journey—so much so that many couldn’t believe a dog was even on the plane! Our family back home was equally impressed, commenting on how well-trained and obedient Hunter had become. This program not only gave us peace of mind as dog owners but also made traveling and everyday life with Hunner a joy. Regardless of the extensive training, Hunner is still a playful pup and keeps his personality during any times he is not actively in "training mode". They even provide boarding services, which we used when my husband had to undergo surgery and we couldn't watch Hunner for a day. Angel made sure he was there to help, which also gave us peace knowing Hunner was in good hands. We are incredibly grateful to Angel and the Camp Lucky team for their dedication and expertise. Without this training, we could never have imagined living such a peaceful, dog-friendly life. For anyone struggling with a high-energy or challenging dog, we wholeheartedly recommend Camp Lucky and Angel’s training. It’s a life-changing investment you won’t regret!
