Caution! If I can give them zero stars, I would! My husband hired Jesse to represent him in a DUI case from when he was a minor, which unexpectedly resurfaced now that he is in his mid-30s. He had no idea there was a warrant for his arrest, as he was able to obtain a Class A license and recently register a firearm without any issues. At no point was he informed that a warrant existed, and he has otherwise maintained a clean record. After being pulled over and learning about the warrant, my husband immediately contacted Jesse. He was told the case would be easy and not to worry. Trusting this reassurance, my husband made his first payment prior to his initial court date. Shortly after, Jesse began encouraging him to serve jail time, which was confusing given the earlier assurances. Jesse made no apparent effort to fight the case. Every conversation consisted of advising my husband to take jail time. When my husband had questions or concerns, calls were rarely returned—yet reminders for payment were always prompt. Most disappointing, Jesse failed to appear when it was time for my husband to surrender. Even the judge expressed confusion and stated that my husband’s attorney should have been present. This was an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. It felt like a complete waste of money, as my husband could have handled the matter himself without legal representation. If you are looking for an attorney who will actively defend you and communicate effectively, this law firm is not the right choice.

Hands down the best DUI attorney in Kern County. I had two separate DUI charges, and he took both all the way to trial with absolute precision and professionalism. He never treated my case like it was “just a misdemeanor” he took real pride in his work, fought hard, and delivered results. I was found NOT GUILTY on both charges.
