We came in to browse, and this was actually our second store of the day, so we can't speak to the quality of the merchandise, but the experience of browsing without pressure was awesome! The first store we went to had only one employee working and was set up in a warehouse style (open floor plan, stock piled up in the back of the space, bare decoration) and the guy had the radio blasting so loud and he hovered around us without saying anything. At Canales, we came in, the salesperson said hello, and then she left us alone to do our thing! No following is like we were criminals about to grab a couch and run out the door, no heavy-handed sales pitch, no forcing a connection with questions about family and jobs and lifestyle. She stopped by twice to see if we had questions, then she wandered off to take care of other customers. Very breezy, very relaxed. We did see some nice stuff, so we will b going back at some point.
