Photo taken before it was a packed house. Drew Lynch had sold out shows and it was a good time. I only took off a star because not all the comedy was that great from the different openers, there were a lot of dull moments until drew.
Great place to see a comedian! Francis was awesome and the staff were nice and helpful. I did feel bad for him as there was a good amount of people at the late show but for some reason they left the right side of the room pretty empty upfront.
Saw Damon Darling here last night. Show was awesome; "Thangs like dat!" Club was cool, too. There is a 2-item minimum on food and drinks so you're forced to buy something; might as well plan to eat dinner like we did. Pros: • I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the pulled pork sammich and the classic burger were • Fries were quite satisfying as well • Wait staff was great! Cons: • Non-alcoholic drinks (from the fountain) are NOT bottomless and the one you get for the $4.50 that they charge is in a tiny, just above shot glass-sized glass full of ice. For unlimited refills you have to shell out $12. That's very unfavorable IMO and not worth it (costed them their 5th ⭐️) so I did one shot of peach-flavored lemonade and then water the rest of the night. Might have considered the 5th star if the one lemonade was served in the same regular-sized cup the water was served in. 🤔💡
Was visiting Austin with my lady and came here for a last minute “something to do”. I read tons of reviews first, so my expectations were set. Location was great and easy to find. The Domain is insanely nice and ritzy. Parking was easy (we parked in the pink garage). The walk from the pink garage to the club was simple and quick. Entry was effortless. We arrived early and pretty much had any pick of seats we wanted. We sat in the back where the seats were more like booths with padded backs (all of the seats had padded bottoms). I don’t believe there’d be a bad seat in the house though honestly. Seemed to be a good view from anywhere in the room (I didn’t venture up to the balcony so can’t speak for those). There is a 2 item minimum per person, but we knew that already and had no problem with it. I ordered two draft Dos Equis which were nice and cold, and my lady ordered a Fiji water and an order of fried mozzarella with marinara. We were expecting the worst with the food because of the reviews, but they exceeded our expectations. Not GREAT, but not terrible by any means. Tasted about like cheese sticks from Sonic. I read several reviews that claimed the sound was awful and that you could hardly hear/understand what the comic is saying. We did not have this issue whatsoever. Idk if it depends on where you sit or the comics voice, but we were able to clearly make out every word with no issues. The wait staff was beyond friendly and was quick and accommodating. The other folks in the room were friendly and courteous. Not a rude soul in the house. Both openers were funny and Leslie Liao put on a great show. Very entertaining. All in all, the whole show lasted about a hour and a half. There were two shows for the evening and we went to the earlier one at 7pm. Great vibes here. No regrets. I easily give this place five stars and will 1000% return again on our next trip.
Atmosphere was great. Small enough venue where every seat is great. Big enough where it felt like you were at a show! Really enjoyed it!
