Five stars! Can't wait to join the club at Cape Bottle Room's NEW SAN ANTONIO spot on Broadway-these South African wines have me hooked. Arrived at the East Austin original and instantly felt at home in that clean, minimalist vibe, all focused on beautiful wines that ditch the snobbery for straight-up joy. Sipped a crisp Chenin Blanc flight while chatting with the super knowledgeable staff-no hard sell, just pure passion for vibrant flavors. And here's the real win: Every single bottle had a clear price tag right there, no guesswork or shady markups. In a city where too many wine bars play games with pricing, this transparency is gold-gives me total confidence knowing I'm getting fair treatment, same as everyone else. Snapped some pics and grabbed a bottle of a bold Pinotage for the road, under forty bucks. If you're in San Antonio make this your go-to-local, honest, oh-so-refreshing. Cheers! 🍷

This place was so great, and Julio was an amazing Som who taught us all about South African wine. We also loved the vibe.

We enjoyed our wine tasting at this stylish though easily missed place. They have bar and table seating and a vast display of wines. The menu has many bottle and glass options, two tastings, and snacks. Paid parking on street or free street parking further away.

We visited for a cheese and wine pairing and had a wonderful time. The partnership with Antonellis for the cheese was perfect and Lacy and Casey were both so knowledgeable about the wine and the cheese. They have cutest, coziest set with a huge selection of wines. Our tasting included a sparkling, white and red, all stellar and we had a glass of the Taj as well. Top notch and I can't wait to go back.

Came here on a Monday at 4pm to avoid the crazy parking and crowds. There is paid street parking right outside of the space. This is a cozy place to get nice South African wine and snacks. The staff were friendly and helpful. I tried the curator red blend and it was a solid medium bodied wine. We also had the meat and cheese board. The cheeses were amazing and the jerky-like meat has some different and interesting flavors like coriander. Loved the honey comb with the goat cheese.
