This was my first time coming to Capelli Hair Studio. I had only been to one other hair salon in Albuquerque and was not very happy with how it came out that time. So I was hesitant to try another place as I normally get my hair done down south in Las Cruces when I travel for school events. Mayo really lived up to her reviews. She did such an incredible job, I was almost tearful at the end with how it came out. She has at least 40 years of experience in hair, and my cut and styling can attest to that. I’ve included pictures of the job she did on my hair. Truly incredible, and a hidden gem here in Albuquerque. Unfortunately, I’m soon moving to another state. But if I’m ever back in town I’m definitely returning to her!!

I had such a great experience at Capelli Hair Studio! This was my second time with Mayo and she’s amazing. She makes you feel comfortable and always does exactly what I ask for. I’ve had a hard time finding someone who can cut curly hair, but she really knows what she’s doing. I always leave so happy with my hair. Prices are affordable! I recommend coming here❤️

I loved the way my hair came out, it came out exactly the way I pictured it, such amazing service the lady was filled with joy and has such a sweet heart very talkative wonderful person and took about 30-40 minutes for my hair to be done, I’m more then definitely coming back no one can do my hair the way she does…I really recommend she’s great

I asked for a haircut and hair color. I told her not to cut it too short and she cut it too short. I asked for black and red and she did brown and a fading red. For doing the job wrong, she charged me $250. NOT RECOMMENDABLE!!
