This is the only place I go for repairs and the team here is incredible. I have gone here for two different Mac computers - my old old one from 2012 that they brought back to life for me 10 years later and my newer Mac that they have saved from 2 different spills. They are quick, efficient, are great with communicating what is going on or needs to be done and very reasonably priced. I won't go anywhere else!
I brought my older iMac to Capital City Computers for an SSD and RAM upgrade, and the experience could not have been easier. Communication was clear, the turnaround was fast, and the results were incredible. I dropped off a machine that felt like a tired old Pinto and picked up something running like a Ferrari. It works better now than when it was new. The whole process was simple and completely painless. I’m especially glad I didn’t attempt the upgrade myself. They knew exactly what they were doing, and it shows. Highly recommend.
Let me start by saying the guys here are a godsend....my 4090 graphics card messed up on me and these guys were so helpful. They attempted to repair it, but were unable to ( not because they're not skilled enough to fix it, but because it was so fried, it melted to another piece) then, at that point, they literally took over messaged the company I bought my p c from and was able to get a replacement graphics card.I can't lie.I was extremely stressed the entire time, but they literally took over and handled everything for me extremely fair pricing.I would one hundred percent recommend, and if anything else happens.I'm going back
Capital City Computers is just plain awesome. 100/100 from me. They are a key asset to someone who relies on their computer for a living. Fantastic, friendly staff. They listen intently, and made me feel safe to leave with them my expensive parts. There's a complete lack of snootiness and bristliness here that is kind of shocking in the PC repair shop scene. I felt welcome to ask questions and learn something from the repair process. Their prices are as good as you'll find in town, and more importantly, they will do the job right. Peace of mind is invaluable, and these guys just include that for free because they're legit technicians. I was in the midst of a three-week-long disaster PC build, trying to figure out which part of my was problematic, sending back my motherboard, waiting on a replacement, etc. I had zero clues to work with because there were no error codes presented on the motherboard. The motherboard's customer service department was, unsurprisingly, abysmal, and led me absolutely nowhere in the troubleshooting process. So I found CCC on Google. I brought in two motherboards, and the other critical parts, and just left it with them to troubleshoot, paying the bench fee plus an expedited service charge. I was walking out with answers that afternoon. It was the CPU, and it wasn't my fault! They even advised me how to get a replacement CPU MUCH faster than I would have if I did the typical RMA process. Incredible. Stuff you only get from talking with real techs in-person. I got the computer working that evening as a result. If I were smarter, I would have come in here weeks earlier to figure my mess out. They have an arsenal of CPUs, PSUs, motherboards, RAM, etc on hand so they can test every single variable easily. They're total pros. I can't describe the relief knowing there's a top-tier computer repair shop in Nashville. I will never ever deal with a phone service again when I can just pop into CCC and talk to a human professional and get real answers. It also helps to know they charge fair prices. I won't ever hesitate to swing by. Thank you Capital City Computing!
I recently bought parts to build a new gaming and editing PC. My partner’s son gave it a few tries at assembly, but the system just wouldn’t run. I decided to take everything to Capital City Computers, and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and ready to help. They explained what they’d do, kept the process simple, and had the computer back to me the very next day—working perfectly. The pricing was very reasonable for the quality of work, and the turnaround time was faster than I expected. It’s clear they know their stuff and take pride in doing the job right. If you’re looking for a place that combines expertise, honesty, and quick service, I highly recommend Capital City Computers.
