We had a baby in March who got very sick and was hospitalized. We asked them to file an extension which they agreed to. I then contacted them once baby was out of the hospital and no response despite multiple calls and emails. We now don't know if the extension was even filed and are now looking at finding a new accountant and dealing with penalties from late filing. I saw multiple of the exact same experiences on yelp. DO NOT USE THIS ACCOUNTANT.

We found Capitol CPA via a friend’s referral after being unable to complete our taxes on TurboTax or at H&R Block due to having income from a stock sale and having lived in two states in one year, both for the first time. We figured these would be relatively simple for a professional and were surprised that H&R was totally stumped after an hour consultation. In contrast, we uploaded our documents to Capitol’s portal and Mustafa was able to accurately and completely prepare our federal and state return without speaking to us. On the phone consultation he walked us through every line which both confirmed accuracy and explained to us how everything works. While we previously looked to spend as little as possible on filing taxes we have been converted to knowing the investment in a CPA is worth it, and we recommend this firm.

Worked with Capitol CPA during this tax season. I worked personally with Mustafa who was excellent. We met and discussed my tax situation (complex this year due to side gigs and small business, in addition to moving state lines). He was able to easily explain how we were going to tackle this, and suggested tax strategies to me that was able to save me money. I usually use TurboTax, but no longer as the service I received was excellent and the piece of mind of a professional dealing with my complex tax situation. Communication was great as I received prompt responses. They build a good relationship with you and you feel like you have a professional on your side.
