I ordered a mixture of white, red and orange primroses via B&Q, fulfilled by Carbeth Plants. They came in unmarked trays. Now beginning to flower, I have discovered that I have not got the colours that I ordered, instead, they are all pale yellow. I have given 2* because the plants are healthy, otherwise, I am extremely disappointed because this is not what I ordered and not what I wanted.
I bought small pot grown fir this year. The tree looks healthy. It had its top and some brunches pruned. I guess for a better shape, I don’t know if that’s normal or not. But looked very good when unpacked, so I guess it’s standard procedure. It needed a day to get to shape after transport. Size was as described. I wanted smaller tree as it will stay outside and I want to grow it in a big pot for the next seasons. The only complaint, for which I take one star off, was dx delivery service. Absolute joke. The tracker and text messages were misleading and the tree ended up to be delivered to my neighbours. Courier didn’t even call to say that they would attempt delivery on a different time than given by the tracker and email. Very frustrating. A bad delivery can really ruin the whole experience. But the tree itself is gorgeous and I hope I will have it for a few seasons to come. Merry Christmas everyone!
I ordered a 4-5 ft Blue Spruce Christmas tree, but although it was labelled as such it was not blue and nothing like the website photo. It was a very uneven shape. The trunk was on one side of the pot and the branches were short, as though they'd grown press against something, the other side was oddly very long at the bottom in about half of it. Other branches had been trimmed, and 10 branches had been partly damaged. Some of the inner sections of the branches had dead needles already. Not at all happy that to get a 'full' refund I had to repackage it (which took well over an hour) and to pay for return tracked postage costing £17+
I thought this year I would order a pot grown christmas tree, I made my order in good time. The tree arrived, not in its box, that was left beside it, damaged box, not well sealed, the nice green pot was scatached, the lowrer branches pulled out of shape. Part of the delivery was and still is missing. The trew had been clipped in places in an attempt the shape it, which is fine if it had another years growth to recover. I got to the point where I thought, this is not right. I am entitled to ask for a refund due due to issues outside of my control, thst means collecting the tree not at my cost. The continued resistance is clear. Would I buy a tree on line again No, would I buy plants on line no. A big mistake but there is the consumer protection act to reply on. Paid by credit card too so can lodge a claim there, if it comes to it. Im dissapointed to do this as I know its a natural product that would hsve been better left than harvested.
I ordered a rose bush to be sent to my parents and was a bit worried when I then read some past reviews. Although it arrived a day late (due to Royal Mail) it was in perfect condition. It was packaged well and there was no damage. It had been pruned back and am happy to say that there are new shoots and growth appearing quickly. I think that some customers may have been expecting a well established plant hence the negative feedback. Very happy with the rose bush and look forward to seeing it bloom.
