I couldn’t be happier with my haircut and balayage by James. It is clear how much care and precision goes into his work, he’s a true perfectionist in the best way. Every detail felt intentional, and the end result looks effortlessly natural and beautifully blended. What I especially appreciated was his balance of professionalism and personality. He’s friendly and easy to talk to, but also no forced conversation, just a calm, relaxed experience where you can truly unwind. I highly recommend him.

Unfortunately I have not had the best experience with Carbon. I have had two stylists cancel on me day of, just hours before the appt. Once in December and once this month. Both days I had special events going on so the cancellation had a major impact on my day and those events. They do not return phone calls promptly and messages constantly have not gotten from the person I have spoken to on the phone to the stylist that is doing my hair.

I had a very disappointing experience at this salon. First, the price I was charged was completely different from what was listed or initially communicated, which felt misleading and unprofessional. Additionally, the staff member who handled my hair coloring, Jamie Agostini, had a very poor attitude. She was rude, came across as condescending, and made me feel uncomfortable throughout the service. I also felt that I was treated differently because I do not speak English fluently. The way she communicated with me felt dismissive and disrespectful, which made the experience even worse. Unfortunately, I will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this salon based on my experience.👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

I can’t stand it when a hairstylist adds extra treatments without my consent. Jamie charged $270 instead of $200 because she did a gloss treatment. It isn’t ok to show the appointment as one charge when booking and then upcharge as you choose!!! It’s a huge power and money grab. And no compliments on my hair at work- which I always get when I see my regular person- who is on maternity leave.

I have truly never had an experience like I do when I go to Carbon Salon. The first time I came here was back in June 2025, after doing lots of research I found myself drawn to this salon. I was nervous because in the past Ive never had a hair stylist that listens to me, and knows how to work with my hair. After countless bad haircuts in the past, I decided to shake it off and come to Carbon and have an appointment with Jamie, and i'm SO glad I did. Jamie makes me feel so beautiful and actually listens to my vision. I had some funky layers from a wolf-cut I got a few years ago, so the past year she has helped me take just a little bit off at a time to slowly let my hair regrow, and now my hair has never been longer and healthier. Not only does Jamie do an incredible job with hair, but she is such a kind and fun person to talk to, it feels like i'm getting my hair cut by a good friend! The rest of the staff are also very friendly and welcoming, even offering a beverage as soon as I check in. After three very successful appointments, I highly recommend Carbon Salon to anyone looking to get their hair done and especially book with Jamie!
