I did 1:1 career counseling with Lisa Stotlar as well as a job search group 11 years ago. It was through my work with Lisa that I discovered a career that I am extremely satisfied in--it's challenging work but in all the exact right ways, and I feel so incredibly lucky and grateful every single day that I found a career that I feel so rewarded by (and that pays the bills!). 11 years later, I am so happy, and I know it was in large part our work together that helped me get there. Among other things, she helped me identify what was most interesting to me and what skills I most like to use, and helped me hone in on where to go. I'm writing this review now because I'm finding myself sending people to her so often that I figured it was time to write a review! :)

Lisa has been a vital part of my career development for a number of years now and I will continue to recommend her for any career advice. Her wealth of knowledge and expertise ranges from building your own personal brand to guiding you on your journey of exploring your true talents, strengths, and values as well as conquering the interview process. Her guidance has not only shaped my career but also influenced my life. She takes time to truly understand her clients by listening and building a trusting professional relationship. She has encouraged me to see and reach for my full potential. She remains a valuable resource as we navigate the ever changing and dynamic market.

Highly recommend CareerGenerations for career counseling needs. The workshops are built on the latest job searching and personal branding techniques; they help you define a strategy and stick to it. The individual sessions energize you and provide you with knowledge tailored to your particular situation. The level of professionalism and experience that both Lisa and Ellen possess is impressive. I would recommend CG on a personal level as well as to a company that wants to weave career counseling into employee development programs.

I have been meeting with Lisa Stotlar for a couple of years now and I feel so fortunate to have her as a resource in my professional career. Lisa is a great listener and really takes the time to understand individuals. She has always offered me solid advice and suggestions on how to move forward in my career and they have been incredible helpful for me. I don't know where I would be without her brilliance and guidance! She is extremely talented and so good at what she does. I highly recommend Lisa for any career counseling and guidance.
