updated (2nd visit): I had a much better overall experience on my 2nd visit addressing an infection - high quality, efficient care. Dr Stephen is top notch, he was decisive, transparent, and ensured a speedy recovery. (1st visit) Dr Stephen was awesome - super engaging, empathetic, and helpful. I’d easily have this at a 5 star for him. At first had high expectations as was impressed w CareNows web check in , in which I had to wait like an hour 15 min or so — no biggie especially with the transparency and pre registration via text. However as I arrived there were 3 more stops and waits totaling over 90 min - I checked in again then 10 min called up to pay co pay and then another 20-30 min wait until the nurse came - ok great I must be getting seen soon. Nurse was friendly and did the pre work vitals. Then had to wait at least another 60 min w zero expectations set - I then learned that CareNow over books and there was only one provider working. This makes for a very poor patience experience AND adds significant stress on the provider especially when he has to manage the volume and frustrated patients who were misled. I get that high volume is incentivized, but quality and poor experiences for the provider and patient should not be sacrificed.

Fantastic experience! Recently went to a neighboring CareNow, and the difference was night and day. Staff was so warm and welcoming, gave updates to those waiting by name. Every person was extraordinarily kind and friendly! Thank you!@

Everyone was so kind and professional from the reception staff to the X ray tech. There was practically no wait at all. Dr. Trotter was super helpful and personable, and they even called me the next day to ask how I was doing. I highly recommend this urgent care and will definitely return.

I was greeted right away and welcomed at reception. Tamia at the front desk was especially helpful and compassionate, making check-in smooth and stress-free. The entire team was friendly and professional. While there were a few minor technical issues, they walked me through everything with patience and ease. I was seen quickly by the doctor, who was professional, kind, and attentive. Overall, it was a super easy experience, and I’d definitely recommend this CareNow Urgent Care team to others in the East Nashville area.

I came in for a drug & alcohol evaluation. I worked with Johna & she was awesome! She was very informative and well-versed in her role. She even educated me on opportunities to further my education in the nursing field! The service was done in a very timely manner. I got in and out quickly and with great conversation!
