Extremely disappointing experience at Clews Horse Ranch. The conditions at this ranch are terrible — the facilities are poorly maintained, and it’s clear the animals are not cared for properly. The overall atmosphere felt unwelcoming, and the management was not only disorganized but also extremely disrespectful when concerns were brought up. Instead of listening or taking responsibility, they brushed off legitimate questions and treated visitors rudely. I would not recommend this place to anyone who values respect, professionalism, or humane treatment of animals. There are far better, cleaner, and kinder ranches in the area that truly care about both their guests and their horses.
Terrible conditions for my horse. Terrible owners who don’t refill water clean stalls had to pull my horse out after she got a dessase from the stall terrible management steer clear
My wife, Geri has 3 active horses boarding here. All 3 are very happy to be there. Property is well maintained and the management is all aces.
Really great boarding place! The facility isn’t the fanciest place in the area compared to the frilly RSF barns, but it is safe, has all the amenities you need, multiple arenas and bullpens, plus has wonderful management who does a good job at overseeing the horses and facility. They do a good job at keeping it clean and fencing properly kept up. Arena has jumps, a dressage court, there are tons of trails, and stalls are bedded. Good bang for your buck in this area!
The best part about this ranch (and I've been to about every one in North Co.) is the new manager, Tanja. She is amazing. Very helpful, knowledgeable and concerned about the horses. Great trails and sea breeze so it's cool.
