I always stop by this independent bookstore whenever I’m in Louisville. Staff are warm and helpful. The selection of books is great: I always find something new to read when I’m there. Also a nice selection of cards and gifts if you’re looking for that.

Carmichael's is a well organized bookstore, with welcoming vibes. It may not be the biggest book store, but they so good with the space they have and I feel that it is well curatored. Liked that they separated the book section and the fun section. The staff here was also incredible friendly! Wanted to do the blind date with the book, so may need to go back.
