I had a situation come up with the door of my vehicle due to my kid messing around with my car. I had recently owner retained it from hail damage, and did not want to file another claim. I brought my car to these guys and they took my door off, fixed it, and didn’t charge me a dime. I happen to be a State Farm Rep and immediately shot these guys to the top of my list of referrals. Top of the line, classy guys. Best of the best.

I had a good experience, from the phone when I called to ask questions and make an appointment, to the reception with the persons who gave me the estimate, and help with the entire process with my car insurance, such as estimates, photographs, and help with renting a car while the repair process lasted, etc. Then they meticulously informed me of the progress of my car. Whenever I called for any reason, they always answered me very kindly. My car was repaired to perfection, so you couldn't see a single defect. Many thanks to all the staff I communicated with, as well as to the Spare Parts staff, who did an excellent job. Thank you very much!!

Current Customer. ******update: it’s now January 2nd, still haven’t gotten my car back. I’ve spoken with the estimator twice since my initial review. “He stated it should be coming out of paint here in the next day or so, I’ll give you a call when it’s ready”****** Decided to try CARSTAR based off the reviews. Had a conversation with Chuck (estimator) about have a single part (fender) painted for my X5. I was assured this would be a quick turn around on since I was dropping it off. (Out of town customer that had time constraints) The price was fairly steep ($580ish). Honestly more what I expected, but based off reviews I felt it had value. And chuck assured me it would be in and out. Here it is going on 3 weeks now. My part still isn’t painted. Haven’t been contacted about my part. I called early last week and was told that it just went back. And now unsure when/ if I can even get it. I was working here for a month out of town from Texas but now have to return home without having my car part. Hoping CARSTAR doesn’t try to mechanic lein my car as I’m now out of state back home and unsure when I’ll be returning to Wichita. Tough pill to swallow considering it will cost me $160 and ten hours in gas/time round trip to resolve.
