I came here after another driver backed into my car, and Renee made the entire experience incredibly smooth and stress-free. I honestly can’t imagine navigating everything without her help. She went above and beyond to assist with the insurance process, rental car, and all the logistics that could have easily turned into a headache. I’m so grateful for her kindness, professionalism, and support throughout the whole process! Thank you Renee !!

I was in an accident on February 9th, which left damage to the passenger side of my vehicle. My car was still drivable, and my insurance does not cover a rental car, nor does Yark (which is where my vehicle was purchased). I can understand expecting a rental from them is maybe unrealistic, but I’m pointing it out to anyone reading this review who chooses this business and are told an estimate of time to complete the work…be prepared. I was warned that they couldn’t give me “a set time”, but when pressed i was told “normally 1-3 weeks is the usual”. Two days later i was told March 3rd. That date changed SEVEN times. I got my car on April 17th. Here’s where the frustration comes in: getting ahold of them is a challenge. Getting updates is like pulling teeth. You get automated text messages letting you know your car isn’t done. When people would ask when my car was going to be done, I LITERALLY began saying “well the date i was given will be the next time they text me and tell me the NEXT time they’ll tell me it isn’t done.” At one point in late March i was told on the phone “they are painting the door…it should be the end of the week, or early next week.” When i did not hear from them early next week i called…and after being told it would be significantly longer, i pushed for answers and was eventually told they “ordered the wrong door”. I was also told they “found significantly more damage” than originally thought after further inspection. After 2.5 months with no car, no apologies for the delay, my car was finally done. When i went in to get it…i was asked how I’d be paying. I literally had to say “can i at least see what was even fixed and I am being charged for?” Zero communication in 2.5 months. What was particularly frustrating is that my car was drivable! Had i known it was going to take this long, I’d have kept my car and told them to call me when they had the parts and labor to finish. When i expressed that my insurance did not cover a rental, it really felt like they are under the impression that money is no object to their customers, and that i had all the time in the world to wait. Did my car get fixed? Yes. Was there any issues with the repair job? Not yet. When I had a multitude of people asking “is your car done yet?” For months, It became clear by everyone’s severe reactions (and insistence that i go in and complain or demand my car back…which i did not do)that this was an unreasonable amount of time to wait to fix what was essentially a passenger side door. And i also learned from several people that they had similar experiences here. Long story short…i am no longer a Yark customer.
