Wow is all I could say. I always get a breve latte and most of the time they are mediocre at best. This was excellent and had to go 5 stars on it. I will return for sure. Highly recommend!

I was a regular at cartel coffee. I went in today and ordered the seasonal CCL (I think was the name). Almost $9 coffee. Went outside to work and while on the phone with my client, accidentally spilled my coffee. Only had one sip of it. Was so bummed, went up to let them know I spilled on accident, and to see if I can get another. She went to the terminal and rang me in another $9, while seeing my entire coffee was on the floor. It definitely rubbed me the wrong way, and I left and went spent my money at Sip Coffee next door. I wasn’t going to spend $18 on coffee there. Even with it being my fault, in customer service, that’s not the right thing to do at all. Bummer. Edit: Posted about my disappointment on my IG story and they saw my story and had an opportunity to make things right but they still chose not to! There are so many other wonderful coffee shops in Old Town who value and care about their customers. Go to Brightside Cafe, Berdena’s or Fourtillfour instead. All amazing options, and better coffee!! :)

I had a latte there it was perfect. Served in a proper coffee cup in house- right balance of flavor. The ambience and service was on point

Cartel Coffee in Tempe is a nice, cozy spot that clearly has a loyal local following. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and a good place to sit for a while or catch up with friends. The staff seemed friendly, and the shop has a cool, relaxed vibe that fits the Tempe area well. That said, the coffee itself was disappointing. I ordered a honey lavender Americano with a splash of milk, but it had no flavor at all. I could not taste any honey or lavender, and it just felt like a regular cup of coffee with nothing special about it. The drink was fine enough to finish, but definitely not worth the price or the hype. Overall, it is a nice place to hang out, but the coffee needs more flavor and attention to detail. I got the caffeine fix that I needed I guess

Super chill vibes for this coffee shop : atmosphere is low key with some cool music . Lots of people in the front working so you get your order pretty quick . We just started off with a Cappuccino- they know how to make a ☕️ coffee . It was delicious !
