Raniya sriracha and Jamie were so amazing! Gave us the best drinks and served us well. The food was phenomenal and we will definitely be coming back for the laughs, food and atmosphere. The only thing was birria tacos weren’t crispy enough and jojo fixed them right up. Greatest experience ever

Casa del Barco in Short Pump was such a great experience. The atmosphere is warm, modern, and perfect for a relaxed ladies luncheon or a get together with friends. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. From hearty bowls with bold Mexican flavors to lighter options like the shrimp salad, everything tasted well prepared and satisfying. The chips were crisp, portions were generous, and the overall quality really stood out. Service was friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. Definitely a spot I would return to and recommend for both casual and special occasions.

Overall the experience was very good. Our server was very helpful and pointed us in the right direction regarding dietary restrictions. The chips and queso were phenomenal…. A little disappointed that it was an extra charge for it when most places don’t charge. The margaritas were great as well. We each got a burrito, they were fantastic a the price for them was more than fair due to the amount of food. I would definitely recommend trying the tres leches cake too, it was delicious. All said and done it was about $70 before tip. Would recommend and will definitely be back.

We made reservations for thier Tequila Tinsel Pop-Up Theme, but it was a little disappointing. Although they had some Christmas decorations, it was just a few things. We talked to the GM and he said they downtown location is the one that decks all out, so if you're looking for a Pop-Up go there. Been here a few times and its very cool looking with 2 stories and patios. Service is always really good. I don't like Mexican places that charge for their chips and salsa, which they do here, I know people that may abuse that, but probably not at a more upscale place like this. I also dont care for their salsa, it has like a smokey flavoring to it, just not a fan. The food is usually good, but never been great. Find there is definitely better Mexican joints around, which would also be a little cheaper. The atmosphere is what you come here for, its tops. Very clean and modern look, more upscale. Been to both locations, downtown probably better in warmer months to sit on the canal and this for inside. It is worth giving a try though.

Food was awful. I ordered the chicken fajitas to go and the chicken was undercooked, the rice was hard, the tortillas were hard, and almost everything was flavorless. This place is about as far from authentic cuisine as you can get. Honestly, a microwave meal would’ve been better. Don’t waste your money — you’ll have a much better experience at a smaller, authentic Mexican restaurant.
