My daughters (age 5 and 8) and I have been training here for about 8 months now, and we have all been loving the experience and community. I have trained other martial arts in many schools throughout my life, and immediately upon walking into Cassio Werneck, felt that this was a great place for us to start training bjj. A high level of respect and care for one another is apparent the second you step into the door, then once you're on the mats, the training is excellent. As a white belt, I feel fortunate to get great teaching from the professors, and also from all the other students who share their knowledge. The kids program is excellent as well. My daughters have fun and have become visibly more confident in their abilities on and off the mat.

I’m proud to be a blue belt training under Professor Cassio Werneck. The academy has a warm, family-oriented atmosphere where everyone from beginners to advanced belts is welcomed and supported. Professor Dan and Professor Cassio are incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and approachable, making every class both challenging and fun. My teammates are amazing, always encouraging each other to improve while keeping the environment friendly and respectful.
