This family owned and operated business is a wealth of knowledge and experience. I had a club chair with a broken leg. The work was completed within the week and I'm sitting in the chair right now. The price was fair and upfront. I will definitely use Cathers again. I'm so glad I was able to repair rather than just throw away and buy new.

In November, I had Cathers perform work on the pine chest my daughter inherited from her grandmother. The chest had scrapes and discoloration. They did a fabulous job and it looks like new! They were helpful and performed the work in a very timely fashion. This will provide many years of happiness on a very sentimental piece of furniture! I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them to you, I know you will be pleased with their work! Here are some before and after photos.

Cather's refinished an 80 year old Virginia Maid cedar chest that was in our family for two generations. The finish was gone, there was some veneer chipping, and some damage to the base. The top was stained with water, a milk spill, and some cat yak. John and Chris knew exactly what they were looking at and expertly repaired and refinished it to look as good, if not better, than new. They were thrilled with the finished product. We were beyond thrilled with the finished product. I cannot recommend Cather's highly enough. Five star work from a five star company.

My experience with Cathers could not have been ANY better. Highly recommend them!!! I brought them 4 antique dining room chairs in extremely rough shape (one broken) and a broken child's rocking chair. After repairing where needed, they totally stripped them, sanded out any imperfections, and recoated them. They look FANTASTIC! These guys used the highest level of skill to transform the chairs to a degree I never thought possible. This was definitely money well spent. Cathers' work is true craftsmanship. Although I said I was in no hurry, their turnaround time was impressive. On top of their work product, John and Chris were very friendly and just all around good people. Surpassed all expectations!
