Yvonne does an exceptional job with color correction and blonde highlights. After my first appointment with her, my highlights blended so much better with my dark brown hair. I was able to let it grow out for 5 months because of how well it was blended (I’ve never been able to do that before.) I think the pictures speak for themselves for what an incredible transformation my hair went through. She is a master at what she does!

Hava at Cavalry Salon does the most amazing haircuts, styling, and balayage—I’ve been coming here for several years and always come away loving my hair and feeling confident, even after just a trim! She’s an incredibly skilled and lovely hair stylist and I can’t say enough good things about her work. My hair tends to be more flat and she brings it to life with volume and body, and when I’ve had balayage done it looks so rich and natural. The appointment I had yesterday is a beautiful example—my hair gets darker in the winter, and the before and after pics show how natural and richly colored the balayage effect is! I love it and it makes me feel brighter in these dark winter months. Thank you Hava!

Highly recommend Cindy! I was visiting from San Francisco for my graduation and needed a last-minute wash and blowout. I have naturally curly 2C/3A hair, and Cindy washed, blow dried, and styled my hair in under an hour—without rushing the quality at all! The blowout was super voluminous, polished, and honestly better than one I paid much more for a month ago somewhere else. My hair looked healthier, shinier, and even longer than it actually is. You can truly tell she’s learned from the best! Amazing results, reasonable pricing, and such a great experience overall. Book with Cindy you won’t regret it! Yvonne is an artist! I asked for a balayage with reference photos, and she was able to replicate it beautifully while still matching it to my natural hair color. The blowout was also beautiful and my hair felt like silk. I can’t wait to come back, I had an amazing experience!

Hava is an ARTIST!!! She is truly a master colorist and gave my hair life I didn’t know it needed. I have been getting balayage for years, but she has given me the hair I’ve always dreamed of. She was extremely meticulous; no detail was overlooked — you can tell she focuses on delivering top-notch results. I walked out of Cavalry Salon elated and feeling like a supermodel! Above all, Hava and the rest of the staff were so kind, accommodating, and attentive. In the sea of hair stylists in DC, Hava is the cream of the crop. I am definitely coming back to see her. Highly recommend booking her for balayage ASAP!
