We had the absolute pleasure of working with Colby Barrett and his team from CB Photography & Videography for one of our TEDx talks in Roseville, and the experience was nothing short of outstanding. I found Colby online while searching for a videographer and photographer, and from the very first message he was both professional and deeply committed to delivering exactly what we had discussed on our initial phone call. He also offered a very competitive price, which made the decision even easier. Colby went above and beyond from the very beginning. He arrived a week before the event for rehearsal, fully equipped, and spent significant time scouting the theater. He carefully identified the best five locations to set up his equipment, ensuring every angle and moment would be captured perfectly. This level of preparation immediately showed his professionalism and dedication. On the event day, Colby and his crew arrived right on time, bringing both expertise and warmth. He worked directly with my kids to set everything up, making them feel comfortable and supported. Once the talks began, Colby’s ability to multitask was remarkable - he seamlessly managed all his video equipment while simultaneously capturing an incredible collection of professional-quality photos. His eye for detail and timing was spot-on, and the results speak for themselves. Although we had initially planned for 2–3 hours of his time, Colby generously spent over 4+ hours on the event day, plus another hour at rehearsal, simply because he wanted to support the kids and make sure everything was perfect. That kind of commitment is rare, and it made a huge difference to us. The editing work was equally impressive. Colby and his team delivered beautifully edited videos and stunning photos, all at the highest quality, and with an incredibly quick turnaround. Their professionalism, creativity, and friendly approach made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. By the end, it felt less like working with a vendor and more like building a great friendship. Thank you, Colby, for your extraordinary work, your generosity, and for helping our kids shine on such an important day. I reached out to Colby from CB Photography and received a response quickly. My request was for professional real estate photos for a marketing campaign. He was able to schedule the shoot very quickly. He photos had a great perspective and turned out great. I have since hired him another time and both campaigns went well and turned out successful.
So happy with my experience! Colby did a wonderful job on photos for me; headshots as well as Yoga pictures for my personal brand. The pictures themselves turned out amazing, and the process was such a fun and positive experience. Colby’s Studio provided a wonderful setting, and he really knows what he is doing!! I hired Colby because he had done work for a company I work for, and I had been very impressed by his photo and video skills in the past. When it came to wanting to get my own pictures done, this was such a great decision. A great choice to get personal branding photos done.
