I took my Knights of Columbus brothers and wives to throw some axes this weekend. We couldn't have had a better time! Josey is a great instructor and makes you want to come back and get more into axe-throwing. She really knows how to coach you and I am so glad she was there to help us learn how to throw the axes. You will love throwing axes and getting coached up by Josey! She's the best!
We did axe throwing for a work team building. It was so much fun. I forgot the employees name but she was so helpful. She explained everything and then she watched. She came up to me and asked if she could give me a suggestion. She told me to stand a foot closer because of where my axe was hitting the board. As soon as I changed, I hit a bullseye. She gave little tips to everyone and it helped a lot. You could tell she knew about axes and how to help us. Everyone really enjoyed it. I would recommend doing this. It is a workout though. The axes are heavy.
I have been wanting to try axe throwing for a long time but never thought i would find one here in San Diego. I am so glad i found this place and now i can’t stop! Had so much fun throwing with my colleagues. It’s a workout that’s for sure! Josie the coach was amazing!
We had such a great time here! The vibe is casual and the staff is super friendly! The axe throwing is private in the back of the brewery so you have privacy and Josie was an awesome as our instructor!! 🪓🪓 we had a party of 8 and we had a blast! We also loved that they have food trucks with tacos and bowls with ahi which were delicious!! We loved the beers on tap and even our gluten free friends were able to drink the cider which was yummy! We all loved the espresso martinis & the fabulous beer selection! This is a must do!! So fun for party and a group night out!
Josie was fantastic! We had never thrown axes and she was helpful, informative, and fun. We had an amazing time and an hour was perfect. Highly recommend for a fun date night or family/friend outing.
