We have been taking our dog to Chalquest for the past 2 years and he loves it and we love it! The owner is so amazing! They take such great care of our guy. It's always super clean and all of the staff are so kind and thoughtful. He's always so happy to go there. They go the extra mile in caring for all the pets in their care and love them like they are their own. We have great respect and apprectiation for the whole team!

We were coming from out of state so we made our reservations over email. They were super friendly and super understanding when we needed to get our pups updated heartworm medication but due to us driving 30 hours here they wouldn’t have it until the Thursday before they boarded. We got in NC a little bit early so last minute we decided to see if we could do a tour of the kennels since our dogs would be staying for about a month. I’m extremely glad we did because the lady who did our tour stated that their kennel might be cleaned “a few times” while they were for 30 days! When asked how often they sanitized their kennels she said sometimes and some of the people who work there just “won’t do it”. So what else will they just not do? She said they would be let out between 2-3 times a day for maybe 20 minutes. Which is also not acceptable. Additionally our tour had to be scheduled, which is typically a red flag for us that we can’t come during operating hours without a time slot. Then once we were leaving we saw dogs outside unattended, again unacceptable. Their fences are not high enough, a dog could easily jump it and head out to the road without them knowing. With all of this we felt extremely uncomfortable letting our dogs stay here. We messaged them and expressed why we would be canceling and we just got an “ok” text. Highly recommend take your pups elsewhere.

We appreciate the care they provided to our little minpin. The owner has always been friendly and communication has been great. We boarded our dog several times and we traveled with piece of mind knowing that our little one is in good hands.

They were friendly enough, and our dogs seem ok. But we just picked them up a few minutes ago so we will see. The reason for 1 star is they use tasers and don't inform owners of this. There was also a stack of them on the desk during pick up! They said they intimidated our medium sized dog to get her to stop barking by waving one in front of her! After this, how can we trust they only waved it and didn't use it or didn't hurt our sweet girl some other way? Highly inappropriate and unnecessary!

They were very good and easy to work with. My regular place wasn't open for boarding my pup when I needed them so I tried ChalQuest. Dani was great with Teddy. He was supposed to be there for 3 nights but when things changed she worked with us right on the spot. I really appreciate how she handled my issues and dog. I would recommend her any time. Very impressive
