Jon is an awesome tattooist with a real talent for both design and technique. Super friendly and easy to chat to, which made the whole session really comfortable. He gave great aftercare advice and I left with an amazing tattoo and a bunch of movie recommendations. Can’t recommend him enough

Had my first tattoo from Jon. Absolutely fantastic experience. He is easy to chat to, supportive and an AMAZING Artist. The Birmingham City centre studio is a great place, everyone is so friendly and down to earth. Jon and Gemma's room is warm, calm environment where I felt safe and very involved. I was there for 2 days and the whole experience was great. Everything is organised and they have excellent clean routines, Jon spent time ensuring my tattoo was right and I was as comfortable as I could be. I cannot thank him enough. My tattoo is halfway through and I am looking forward to the next 2 days, never expected to say that! I've had loads of information on aftercare and products to keep it clean and protected in the first couple of weeks. Even half done it's already brilliant! His realism art skills are just the best, I've not seen anything like it. Mad skills and a decent personality, in a comfortable clean environment, nothing else needed! One very happy customer.

I was looking at getting a tattoo, and after seeing a friend’s amazing realism piece, he recommended his tattooartist Jonarton (Jon) at Chapters Tattoo Studio in Birmingham. I sent Jon some images for inspiration for my Menorcan themed idea, and he created an amazing mock-up, and after a couple of tweaks, we landed on the perfect design. It was my first tattoo, and Jon instantly made me feel relaxed. While setting up, he took the time to chat, get to know me, and even played music he thought I’d like (and absolutely nailed it). His attention to detail is unreal. He clearly loves what he does and takes real pride in every part of the process. Jon talked me through everything, answered all my (sometimes nervous!) questions, and gave top-notch aftercare advice. He’s genuinely there for you from start to finish, even checking in afterwards to see how the healing process is going. The studio itself is lovely and welcoming, and everyone there was great. If you’re looking for a realistic tattoo, I couldn’t recommend Jonarton more highly. Absolute legend! :)
