I didn't think it was the best shop for younger shoppers and also not for XL or larger (there were 10 hangers - maybe - of XXL clothing and half of them were smaller items that were misplaced there). People wearing XS to L have a plethora of choice. The accessories and shoes sections also were pretty awesome. The luxury section had a lot of good items. There's a section for items shared on social media so shoppers don't have to go through racks and racks looking for them. The housewares section was to die for if you're looking for really very quite nice tableware sets in incredible!!! shape. They even had silver tea serving sets! My jaw was all the way down to the floor. The furniture on offer was in amazing shape. A couple of pieces needed work, which is to be expected in a charity shop. I would for sure do the needed work for such high quality items if they were something I was looking for. Everything was in ***great*** shape. Can't speak to parking as we went during peak hours on a Saturday. I imagine there is plenty at other times. Still, we didn't have a problem finding a spot as there was street parking to choose from. Also to be emphasized is that the staff treats the shoppers as if they were in a very nice shop and not in a charity shop.
The greeters and staff are unfriendly, and either look sternly at you or ignore you. I would not have thought much about these occurrences until I read many similar reviews about such behavior experienced by certain demographics (read: people of color). The items aren’t of such good quality that they are worth the listed price. However, I would still purchase items here since the purchase is ultimately a donation toward important community causes. Unfortunately, given the absence of customer service, I will not consider returning. The management should do the diligence of educating and training their volunteers in customer service, especially as it relates to treatment of minority demographics, rather than waving off the many reviews citing this issue.
Cute store with a big variety to choose from. Their staff are rude and will follow you around the store. They don’t offer help, they just watch you shop. I guess they have a theft problem but it really made me feel unwelcome. Most items are overpriced and not really worth the asking price.
In my experience, this location has offered impressive deals on designer clothing, especially professional attire. Nevertheless, my most recent visit left me feeling unwelcome. It appeared that the staff were catering to a specific group, and as I did not belong to that group, I felt that their behavior was rude and judgmental. Considering that this establishment is affiliated with a church, I strongly believe that they should strive to create a welcoming atmosphere. As a resale shop that relies on donations and supports the church, it is crucial that they make everyone feel welcome to shop.
This is absolutely the best trift store in my life!! Thus is actually first store where I liked EVERYTHING. They have vintage clothes, branded bags and shoes, jewelry, prom dresses, Victoria Secret silky pajamas and many many many other things. The staff is absolutely amazing and super helpful. I absolutely love clothes part of the store, but when I got to non-clothes part, that was even better. The laces, Iranian table clothe, Indian brass plate, tailor dress form, electro piano, telescope, sewing machine, books... Hold me, cause I love this store, and I will be back many times!
