My Dog Jaxx goes to Chasin Tails for grooming and daycare. He loves going, as soon as we are close to the establishment he starts to pace excitedly. I love knowing he is well taken care of. The staff are amazing.
I want to take the time to let the Chasing Tails team know just how much I appreciate you. The very first time I brought Woody in for his assessment day, I will be honest I spent the better part of the day watching the cameras stressing out. Day 2 visit I still spent a fair amount of time watching Woody. By the next few visits I did periodic check ins and even though he was still a little unsure your team has been amazing with him. I appreciate the time everyone takes to make sure I know how much he is progressing. (Even though I know this can be very stressful for him and more so me.) Everyone makes sure to touch base but Kassandra, Stephanie and Jeff have all taken time help me feel more confident in my boys ability to do this. If I could give 1000 stars I would.
I love chasin tails. For our dog and the families dogs the do so well taking care of them. Truly can’t say enough good things. Training, daycare, and boarding they always handle our dog with great care!
I'm not one to complain, and I make this complaint respectfully. Chasin' Tails did not meet what I consider reasonable minimum expectations for communication. These expectations are 1) if there's a significant change in the service being rendered, or 2) if there are health concerns, Chasin' Tails should notify one in a timely fashion. I left my pup in their care for two weeks, and by day two, I could no longer see my pup on their cameras. I checked at various times of the day. When I reached out to them to inquire why, they informed me that he WAS in the bays, just with the bigger dogs. I continued checking at various times of the day and was never able to spot him. About a week in, after emailing multiple requests for information, they told me he had a cough, but that he was "chipper" and they did not have any concerns about spreading infection. With the information they provided, I asked that they leave him on rest for an additional day, assuming they would provide an update on the status of his cough. Not only did they not provide an update, but I had to email multiple times to receive a response. It turns out that he had contracted kennel cough and required veterinary intervention. To be clear, I am not complaining about the quality of care my pup received nor am I blaming Chasin' Tails for my pup getting sick. I'm complaining that the communication was delayed, incomplete, and sometimes contradictory. I still don't understand why if there was no concern of infection, why he was quarantined for almost the whole time he was there, as far as I could tell. I don't understand why they told me that he was in their bays when I never saw him. And I don't understand why I had to constantly prompt them to give me updates about the status of my pup's health. When I spoke to the general manager, they informed me that they were encountering an unusually high number of kennel cough cases. I don't understand why if my pup was being quarantined, and they were experiencing higher than average cases of kennel cough, why they wouldn't suspect it sooner, or recommend vet assistance more adamantly. I went on a vacation to try to disconnect, but Chasin' Tails did not allow me to do that fully because of their poor communication. Leaving my pup with them felt more like Chasin' Information. [Edit: Added Jan 29, 2026 to respond to Chasin' Tails' response.] I appreciate your response to this review. I wish your responses to my emails about my dog's health had been just as quick, thoughtful, and thorough. The thing that is being missed here is that we were in contact about my pup's health BECAUSE I prompted it. The fact that it was over email is not a mitigating factor. It makes the situation worse. How difficult is it to write an email saying "hey, we noticed your dog was coughing so we put him on extra rest. We'll continue to monitor the situation and keep you informed if anything changes"? It took me less than a minute to write that. That's all that was needed. But I had to reach out and ask "why can't I see my dog?" 3-4 times before you finally informed me he was sick. Your failure to communicate the bare minimum in a timely fashion is the breach in question. And this simple breach has led me to question your integrity, your ability to prevent/mitigate the spread of sickness in your facilities, and your ability to listen.
Very nice groomers and caring, the groomer Tatiana we had for my two doggies listen to our concerns and how we wanted their spa day to feel. My doggies were very happy and look beautiful! I recommend them and will be bringing my babies again for their spa day 🐾💕
