Chops Music Studio is fantastic! A beautiful, creative space with top-tier audio setup and equipment. As a drummer, I can’t say enough about how incredible the drum kits are. They’re tuned perfectly and are just a joy to play. Whether you’re practicing, recording, or collaborating, this space has everything you need to sound your best. Also, shout out to Rico and Trent, who are total pros: they’re very knowledgeable and genuinely care about helping artists grow. Can’t recommend this place enough. It’s the kind of studio that makes you want to stay and create all day.

Chops is amazing! The instructors are so passionate about teaching and make it really fun for kids. My 4 year old loves it and responds well to the structure and goal setting of each session. My older kids also take piano and love picking the songs they learn next! Highly recommend!

Both my daughters have been studying at Chops for years and I can’t say enough about Matt and Trent. They are great teachers, great mentors and great friends. They fully support the students and we look forward to the lessons every week.

Chops is the best music school in South Tampa. Matt and Trent are wonderful teachers for both kids and adults. Matt is the music director for South of Kennedy, the classic rock dance band I play in. Our group wouldn't be on this wonderful musical journey without him.

The owner, Matt, is a tremendously talented musician, capable of playing multiple instruments. He is also a great teacher, has taught students of all ages, and personally taught me how to play drums and piano! In addition to Matt, the rest of the Chops staff is full of talent and professional individuals. Lastly, the studio itself is a beautiful space, very comfortable, and simply great for all things music. Highly recommend!
