I attended a couple of sessions at the Brisbane St gym whilst visiting Perth. The gym had an agreement with the hotel I was staying (Alex Hotel) at so jumped on the opportunity to join in. Meg was very welcoming and made sure I was included as part of the regular crew. Thanks Meg! Sessions were great with good flow and plenty of work squeezed into the session. Equipment is top notch, gym really well laid out with plenty of space for group training. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.
Having been to a number of studios and trainers over the years I have to say Chris and his team are outstanding. The sessions are tough but fun and results follow….if I had to isolate one key difference it’s the “care” factor, Chris, G and the team are passionate about your results, and that makes a huge difference. Highly recommended
After a couple of years away from consistent weight training and proper strengthening exercises, I clearly felt the difference, my body was prone to minor injuries and definitely wasn't functioning at its fullest potential. I knew I needed a complete change in my regime, and after trying a couple of different places, I finally found Chris Wilson Studios, which catered to all my needs. This studio is a true rarity because of its variety. Whether I need to go full-on sweat with hardcore cardio sessions, or dial it back for technical improvement, there's a class for it. Their programs range from dedicated Strength Set classes where the focus is purely on weight and correct technique, to specialised classes that dig deeper into posture building, not to mention the brilliant combination classes that blend it all together. This variety is what makes long-term progress possible. Beyond the classes themselves, the culture is exceptional. The trainers are all wonderful, experienced professionals, and the atmosphere is truly top-rated. I couldn't be happier to have found this studio. They don't just offer workouts; they make it genuinely exciting to get up, get out, and actively become the strongest, healthiest version of yourself. Highly recommend!
If you’re looking for a good workout and good vibes Meg is the trainer for you! I had never stepped foot in the gym (much less touched weights) until joining CWFS and now eight months down the line I can confidently say that I’m feeling much stronger and confident under her guidance! The studio has built an amazing community from their members as well as their staff, and sometimes you might even catch them working out with you in your sessions, so it is to feel welcomed from the get-go, because why recover in silence when you can have a quick chat before your next set? If cardio is not your thing, give Strength and Sets (with Meg) a go- you’re going to love it!
My boyfriend and I signed up with Chris Wilson for 2 weeks as we were passing through Perth. As someone who competes in hyrox in France, I loved the sports formats. The gym is absolutely magnificent, very clean, with quality equipment and very attentive coaches. But let me tell you about our coach G ✨ Gorav is an exceptional person, always smiling, kind and with good personalized advice. We had fallen in love with him, we will miss him enormously!!!! G, if you're reading this Google review, know that you marked the beginning of our Australian adventure 🫶🏼 If I did a hyrox competition I would proudly wear your gym t-shirt ☺️ I recommend 100000%, can't wait to come back!
