This is my second time coming here, thinking I would enjoy the experience and my nails more (because I live right up the street). Unfortunately, I was disappointed yet again. The two women at the front desk were rude and it appeared to be because of my skin color (Yes, I’m a brown skin woman). When other women (other pigmentation) entered they smiled and greeted with courtesy. Also, I’m not happy with my nails, they are thin and she she didn’t provide enough coats of the chrome color (which made them look darn near see through). The place is beautiful, but the customer service sucks & the nails come out looking halfway done.
WARNING: DO NOT GO TO THIS NAIL SALON. My experience with Tommy was absolutely horrific. He was so rough he nearly ripped my nails off. The manicure was extremely painful, and the end result was disgusting — crooked, sloppy, and completely ruined. Worst of all, he cut my skin badly enough that I had to get a tetanus shot afterward. That is beyond unacceptable — it’s dangerous. This place clearly does not follow basic hygiene or safety standards. This salon is unprofessional, unsafe, and careless. I left in pain and shocked that they are allowed to operate. Stay far away.
i am visiting from out of town and needed to get a GelX fill for my bodybuilding competition. Helen helped me choose my color and design, and was super accommodating with my request! she worked carefully, and my nails came out exactly how i wanted it! would totally come back if i am in the area.
I always come to this nail salon since it’s right next to my job. The service is always spectacular and everyone is always so nice. Also, I never know when I’ll be able to take my lunch so I usually can never schedule ahead and they accept walk-ins.I usually just get a pedicure, but this time I decided to try getting my nails done. It was a lovely experience, but I can’t deny that my nails aren’t really giving what the picture is giving. After talking to my friend, who’s a nail artist, she said that dip powder should have been used?? and the color matching is off. So I wish the nail techs would have tried to match the image a little bit better even if that meant suggesting a different technique. 😬 Even after I kept showing people the picture they kept handing me the book asking me to pick the color. I’m not the professional in the situation lol and so I just went with whatever was looking pink at the time. I do like the set that I got but It’s a little far from the inspiration picture. I do think I will try out a different nail salon though because I still love the inspiration Picture and would love a set like that! So in short, love this place and I will still be going there for my pedicures, but when it comes to nail art and nail designs, keep it simple with one solid color. Nails and regular pedicure was $166 ($200) after tip so kinda up there in price. But it’s convenient being so close to work.
It wouldn’t allow my sister to post but here is her review on this nail shop..I’ve been to this nail shop before and had issues with my nails lifting early, but I decided to give them another shot just to be sure. Unfortunately, the same thing happened again. Around day 7, my nails started lifting, and now at day 12, two have completely popped off and the rest are barely hanging on. I spoke to a woman I assumed was the manager, but she said the actual manager wasn’t available. When I explained my issue, she told me they don’t fix anything after six days—which is frustrating considering the nails didn’t even last a full week. This time I paid $89, and you’d think that’s not too bad—until you realize I also spent $119 just two weeks before this at the same location, and those nails lifted too. So, you do the math. That’s over $200 on nails that didn’t even make it two weeks combined. The staff is friendly and the shop looks nice, but the quality and customer service just don’t match the price. I won’t be coming back.
