What a phenomenal Sunday evening we had, having the back rooftop patio almost all to ourselves for my partner’s birthday! And whoever was the Black gentleman who worked upstairs keeping the back of the rooftop patio clean and organized — I’m not sure I’d ever seen someone so dedicated to his shift. We were a group of 13 and so we put some of the tables together (it is first-come, first-served on the upstairs patio). He pointed out where we could grab more chairs if needed, and asked us to leave the remainder of the tables for other people. Then whenever people came upstairs and got seated, he would arrange the remaining tables and chairs so there would always be an open spot for whoever would arrive next! There is no waiter service upstairs, but he did also offer to take our trash to help keep our table neat. We stayed for a few hours long after the gorgeous, fiery sunset was gone. What a chill and memorable location! You can order food to-go from the dinner menu at the downstairs bar and bring it up in a cardboard container. Amongst the table, we had truffle fries, the burger, the lobster roll, and some flatbreads…. It all looked and tasted great! Additionally, the one bartender downstairs was so friendly as well! Great crew on both floors last Sunday! I’d never been to this location before, but the vibe, service, and food was exactly what I was hoping for for this surprise party.
Delicious food in a gorgeous waterfront setting. Can’t speak to the drinks but my parents seemed to like theirs. The entire place is dog friendly, and there are outdoor seating options on the patio and the roof, as well as indoors, all with a view of the water from what I could see. Very spacious place in a serene setting. The staff was welcoming and service was quick, but not rushed. The hostess made sure to explain that one area did not offer table service, one area didn’t have the full restaurant menu, etc, which was appreciated. Would absolutely come back again!
Found a nice refuge after a hot morning exploring playgrounds with my kids at Pier 25 and 26. This place had a nice outdoor seating area where you get shade and breeze by the water. Highly recommend their CV Burger which has melted brie, arugula, and sweet apple onion spread on it. I enjoyed the taro chips with the tuna poke but wished the poke tasted more fresh than salty. I was glad they had a kids menu but I had to ask. Overall nice place if you are in the area to unwind with the views. IG @Jubes111 YouTube: Jujubi Fam
Cute restaurant on Hudson with beautiful view! We sat on rooftop to enjoy a view of west manhattan and catch last warm days. We ordered Cesar salad with chicken, for drinks Aperol Spritz. Bartender was super nice and his drinks which he made for us were AMAZING!!!! Highly recommended!
City Vineyard is where unbeatable views meet seriously good food. Nestled along the Hudson River, this spot feels like a little escape right in the city. The moment you walk in, you’re hit with waterfront vibes, string lights, and that laid-back, effortlessly cool energy. Perfect for sunset dinners, weekend hangs, or just treating yourself after a long day. I ordered the classic burger with fries—and wow. Juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked exactly how I asked. The brioche bun was soft yet sturdy, and the fries? Golden, crispy, and addictively good. Paired with one of their house wines, it hit every craving just right. The service was friendly and relaxed, giving me time to soak in the skyline views without feeling rushed. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, City Vineyard is a must for anyone who loves good food with a side of scenery. Bonus: the rooftop is a vibe all its own. Already planning my next visit—this place just gets it.
