Clear Flour Bread is a well-regarded bakery located near the Brookline-Allston line, in a small residential area. The line does appear to be long when visiting, however that is mainly due to the store allowing only 3 parties within the space at a time due to how small the store is. There is no seating at this location. There are a wide variety of breads and pastries available, all reasonably priced and good portion sizes. We got a variety of offerings, such as coconut macarons, cookies, croissants, and herb butter sesame bread. They were all tasty, can be a little hard when first served but toasts well and has a great flavor. The highlight was probably the herb butter black sesame bread.

Clear Flour Bread in Brookline is absolutely incredible. The French baguette was perfect, the olive bread was unreal, and every cookie and pastry we tried was next-level. There was a line out the door when we got there, but it moved fast and was 100% worth it. We grabbed cappuccinos from the little coffee bar next door and they were the perfect pairing. Sharday, one of their amazing bakers, told me to stop by — and she did not miss. Benji took great care of us and made sure our whole order was dialed in. We’ll definitely be back. This place is a gem.

Went to pick up some bread and baked goods. The line was crrrazzzy but I wasn't expecting it so maybe that's just something you must emotionally prepare for ahead of time. The staff were very nice. Their baked goods and bread were lovely but not mind blowing. I'm not sure I'd go back but if you're looking for something on a nice day it could be a good option.

Thanks to google maps, this sparked our curiosity. Highly recommend. Wonderful selection of fresh made breads and pastry eats. We ordered quite a bit since we wanted to try as much as we can. Our stay was short but we'll be here again if we're in Boston.

As recommended by a friend, we made the trip to Clear Flour Bread in Brookline on a Sunday morning. Even before we parked, we spotted the line of people waiting outside and knew right away that our 50-minute drive would be worth it. The pastries did not disappoint—everything we tried was absolutely delicious. While there’s no indoor seating, you can enjoy your fresh-baked treats on a bench right outside, which adds to the charm. It was also surprising to learn that most of the customers were locals who stop by almost every week—always a good sign! The only downside is that they don’t serve coffee at the same counter, so we had to grab ours from their Coffee Bar next door. Still, I’ll definitely be coming back.
