This place is terrible. I missed one class and they kept my class credit, charged me a $15 “missed class” fee and then added a $20 late fee on top of that. So apparently missing a class means you lose the class credit and owe $35 extra? Completely outrageous and a total rip-off. Never going back.
Probably a great place for Pilates, but the women that leave there are terrible drivers. Entitled and rude. The parking lot for the Pilates studio happens to be directly behind an elder person’s building where there are elder people driving and parking along with caregivers. As these women are leaving their classes and zooming through the parking lot in these Mercedes-Benz SUVs and the like, these elder people are overtaken. As a caregiver, I have visually watched these women flip these old people off, and treat them with the most unkind disrespect. As I’ve stated, I’m sure it’s a great place for Pilates, but the clientele that it brings is disrespectful, entitled and downright rude. What is worse is I called to let them know and you could hear the women laughing and snickering in the background. Heartbreaking and sad as far as I’m concerned. So based on that, it’s an absolute no for me.
This club has a very friendly atmosphere. The instructors I’ve had have been excellent. The content of the classes varies so it’s never boring. After attending for several months, my body feels stable, flexible and strong. As we age, we all want that!
This is my favorite place to do Pilates with my instructor Patrice. She is the best! I take private lessons with her 2-3 times a week and feel more energized and fit than ever! Her knowledge of Pilates and anatomy is wonderful and she’s the only one I trust to know what workout I need on any given day. They also have packages which make it more economical for private sessions than at other studios.
Taryn is my favorite instructor! She incorporates a true mindfulness into each class. She’s quick to help adjust any straps, equipment or my form during class and provides quick, but thoughtful modifications to any exercise that may be too challenging for a beginner like myself. She pays attention to each student and their practice. She’s very subtle about it too, not to embarrass you in front of the whole class. I’ve consistently felt able to follow her instructions and pace and I feel so much better after class! Don’t get me wrong, im tired as she finds the gentlest way to work each of the muscle groups without straining my joints or my back. Love her music selection too as it seems to fit the flow of the classes I’ve attended thus far. Give her a bonus already please!!
