On Sunday we visited clueQuest and played both Plan52 and IAMAI. Both games were great fun and were hosted by lovely, friendly Games Masters. Apparently Plan52 was their first ever room but you would not have been able to tell as the room has had some major tech upgrades in recent years. And feels like it could have opened only a few years ago. Talking of tech IAMAI is clueQuests brand new room and it features a lot of really impressive tech puzzles and special effects including projection mapping. I don't want to give away too much for either of the Escape Rooms but I would highly recommend them both. We played Plan52 as a team of 3, and IAMAI as a team of 5. In both rooms there were plenty of puzzles and challenges to keep everyone busy. Whilst I did enjoy Plan52 I really have to say that if you are an Escape Room fan you absolutely have to check out IAMAI! We have played a few tech heavy rooms and sometimes it can make you want for something more tangible. However with the integration of the tech, the setting and the story of IAMAI, the tech felt absolutely integral to the experience. Having experienced IAMAI I am very excited to see where clueQuest might go next with any future rooms.
