I booked a last-minute appointment about two weeks ago for a blowout with a scalp scrub and leave-in conditioner. The receptionist was very kind, and the coffee was amazing. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was just okay. The stylist seemed rushed and disengaged, spent most of the appointment talking to a coworker, and made me feel more like an inconvenience than a client. She frequently mentioned pain in her hand, which made me feel uncomfortable and guilty for receiving the service, rather than relaxed and welcomed. I have complete respect for her trying to follow through with the service regardless of her discomfort, however this just created an uncomfortable situation for the both of us and would have preferred her cancelling the service. The scalp scrub felt very rushed and not like the treatment I expected. During the hair wash, she ripped out one of my earrings (which was of course an accident, but still something that has never happened to me before). During the blow dry she burned me a few times, even (accidentally) pressing the hot blow dryer to my forehead at one point. That same night, my hair became spongy and frizzy, which was surprising since my hair usually holds a blowout very well — it felt like the blow dry wasn’t fully polished. For the amount that I paid, I expected a better experience. Based on the many positive reviews, I feel like this may have been a one-off experience. The overall vibe of the salon seemed welcoming and positive, so I’m open to coming back and trying a different stylist in hopes of a better experience.

I have been wanting to check this place out for a while especially from all the reviews I seen on social media and I finally decided to book an appointment. Let’s just say this was one of the best blowouts I ever had done. Daniela was a sweetheart and the staff were all super nice. The way the salon is decorated is very beautiful too. I will most definitely be coming again (:

So glad they opened a spot in West Kendall. This is such an amazing idea for coffee and a great blow out and styling. Perk here: they have iced coffee! It’s a great place to unwind or bring my laptop to get some work done. I highly recommend and while I have my favorite stylists who I usually book, I watch so many of the stylists do an amazing job. Highly recommend.

I've been a loyal customer at Coffee & Hair Kendall since it first opened, and it's always been one of my favorite places. The staff is wonderful, and all the stylists are incredibly welcoming and professional. However, I noticed a change this morning when trying to book an appointment online. The option to select a specific stylist was no longer available, which created a lot of confusion. I’ve always appreciated being able to book directly with my preferred stylist, as it helps ensure a more personalized and smooth experience. Because of this change, I had to call the salon to book my appointment. I kindly suggest bringing back the ability to choose your stylist during online booking. It keeps things more organized and avoids uncertainty for both customers and staff.

The best blow dry bar! Great customer service, the girl washed my hair so well and my curls came out beautiful! I asked not to add so much hair spray and she listened to my request. The best part is that as soon as you get there they offer you coffee. I highly recommend it! It will not disappoint you. Is easy to book your appointment online! Make sure you add the right location(Kendall).
