Where do I start... Hmm.. Well, I needed help, when I shouldn't have needed... I asked around for the best in my case, and was referred here to collett read. I'm glad I did, dean was my first point of contact and got me thru everything and advised me of how he has dedicated lawyers for certain areas, and we talked about my case, and he chose the best he had for me, I believe I've had 2 different lawyers, Adrian and Nicole.... TOP LAW FIRM in Hamilton. When mentioned I was being represented by Collett Read LLP, the elicited response was usually along the lines of "They'll take good care of you!" And they did!! My initial consultation was with Dean Collett. He promised me nothing. But, his confident cadence and careful consideration of the details I provided gave me a sense of security at a time when I was at a record low. He has a strong sense of where the members of his team are most effective, and I could hear his eyes light up over the phone as he spoke highly of each and every one of them; the markings of a true leader. I went with Jessica Read, a Partner Lawyer of the firm. It's important to note that Jessica started as a Crown Attorney, which gives her a certain edge (e.g. an intricate understanding of how the Prosecutors think and concise knowledge of how the written law is interpreted by the officers of the court). It's also important to note that Dean and Jessica built this firm together, and train the entire office to advocate for their clients to the fullest extent. I was prepared to fight my case tooth and nail, but didn't have to thanks to Jessica Read. I feel very lucky she acted with a high code of ethics, including the following: Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Justice, Competence, and Stewardship. A BIG SHOUT OUT to Dean Collett, Jessica Read, Alyce Wilson, Adara Giancola, and the entire Collett Read Team.

Natalia Pawlowski was my lawyer from Collett Read LLP. From the moment I had my initial phone call with her, I knew she was the right choice. The first call was an initial interview to see if I was comfortable hiring her and I was sold almost instantly. She asked all the right questions and answered honestly. The way she actually listens and doesn’t sugar coat things is exactly what I was looking for. She not only fought for my innocence but made me feel comfortable 100% of the way through it all.
