Went to the 14th anniversary show of Comedy Heights at the Adams Ave venue last Friday night and it delivered. The energy stayed high from opener to closer, with every comic bringing something fresh and hilarious. The show kept its PG-13 standard without losing edge or skill. The jokes hit hard while staying accessible, and the balance of professionalism and authenticity made it stand out. The host, Al Gavi, mentioned that Comedy Heights pays every comic who performs, not just the headliners, which explains why the lineup feels so strong and motivated. The headliner, Jason Kaye, closed out an incredible night with a lively set and even broke out his electric guitar for a surprise musical finish. The crowd loved it, and every comic before him kept the laughs rolling with strong material and tight delivery. The host also took time to thank the audience for 14 years of support and recognized the comics who helped build the scene. Tickets were only $5, which is almost unbelievable given the quality of the show. The venue is intimate, well-run, and easy to find. The sound is clear, seating is comfortable, and the staff keeps the night moving smoothly. If you want a show that mixes seasoned talent with up-and-coming comics, all in a genuinely positive environment, Comedy Heights is the place to go. I’ll definitely be back.
