This was my first time here and it was amazing! They had everything you could think of too. The staff was very kind when it came to testing equipment and truly making sure I was pleased with my purchase. I initially came in to rent for a game tonight and ended up purchasing the lens instead. Shout out to Bryce for being such a big help. My mother and I had a great experience, I will definitely make this my go-to.

Brought my G7X Mark III here to get a quick repair. I got some sand in the lense. Without even looking at the camera, they quoted me $600 and a 5 week turn around. I walked out, drove to Garland Camera Repair (it was a bit of a drive, but I heard good things), and they fixed it within 20 minutes for $40 and it’s brand new again!!! DON’T GO HERE!

went in with a trade, knew i wouldn't get much for it but figured anything helps considering i intended to spend money with the business. nice gentleman started out helping us and everything was great til he had to pass us off to id assume a manager for the trade in question. the manager was completely rude offered know help or knowledge when i asked questions. not professional at all and honestly made me not want to ever spend a dollar here or ever step foot in again.... do better i traveled from out of dallas and was very excited to visit this store....

One of the best camera shops—somewhere you can confidently place your trust in both their products and the service you’ll receive. The staff is knowledgeable and provides solid guidance. What I especially appreciate is how they’ve supported me whenever I needed to rent lights and cameras, helped me get my equipment repaired, and even advised me against unnecessary purchases. They’ve always been genuine with me.

This place has been around a long time, often recommended by professors of mine, and I had the privilege of meeting the then owner many years ago, may he rest in peace. Despite this, I wasn't really a frequent customer. I'm an active member of the Dallas PPA guild and Competitive Cameras is one of our valued sponsors. This week we had Gary Hughes as our speaker at our monthly meeting and the following day, there was full day workshop, which unfortunately I couldn't attend. But Competitive Cameras said, not to worry, because the very next day, they were sponsoring Gary for an evening presentation on tethered shooting at Community Beer Co. I brought my husband and we watched Gary do his thing and my husband (who isn't a photographer) really liked what Gary said about taking pictures for fun. He decided to gift me a Fuji X100vi. I walked into the store the next morning and was blown away by how attentive and knowledgeable the staff is. From the greeting, to the selection of my items, to answering my questions, and handling payment and giving me my receipt, it was a great experience. I highly recommend this store whether you're a professional or a hobbyist, I know they'll take care of you. Enjoy the first pictures I took with my new Fuji X100vi
