We found Matt in 2021. We were looking for a change in hopes of finding someone who’d reply timely to our email & phone questions. Matt does a tremendous job communicating and I sometimes test him with off-hrs questions. Matt is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and I wanted an advisor who had this gold standard designation. To this day we feel fortunate to have found Matt Smith to personally help us manage the financial part of our retirement. Tom K. Nancy K. Matt is a big reason I’m still married. Before we worked with him I absolutely hated having financial discussions with my husband…talking about money and planning for the future just made me very uncomfortable. I also wasn’t thrilled about spending money on a business to tell me how to spend my money. We have been working with him for several years now and he’s been great. He has found ways to save us money and doesn’t talk to me like I’m totally ignorant about financial planning/retirement (which I might be). As a lawyer, I am naturally cautious about trusting people. He is seriously great. I like him more and trust him more than some of my own family. He has never tried to stifle my overpriced latte budget and has been truly understanding of our priorities for the future. You won’t regret it.
