Lisa is amazing! We completed the board and train program for our Bernese Mountain Dog puppy. He is doing great with his commands now and listens so much better. We have loved the experience and know Winston did too! We plan to board our dogs with her while on vacation as well!
I waited for so long trying to decide if I should get any form of training for my dog. The issues escalated this summer and I called Lisa on a Saturday morning and spoke to her for 45 minutes. Before we spoke I felt helpless and was desperate. I didn’t know what I needed to do for my pup. After we spoke, I felt relief. Fast forward a few weeks to getting my pup back from a board and train session with Lisa and our life was totally changed. For years our dog was controlling our life. We couldn’t leave her at home, she was escaping the fence, and had terrible separation anxiety. Lisa worked with her for 3 weeks and we saw a miraculous difference. My 4.5 year old GSP was proud to show off what she learned. She stays home comfortably now. My only regret was waiting so long to call Lisa. She truly cares and continues to check in on the progress. I am so grateful to her. If you’re considering training, even if you think the behavior is something you could overlook for a little bit, don’t wait to call. It is well worth the time, money, and effort (which is much more easier and more pleasant that the effort I had to put in before). Thank you Lisa!
Lisa is absolutely amazing and has allowed me to make huge strides with my dog, Lillie! Lisa spends so much time explaining and showing the proper commands to make sure that you and your dog can excel. I've been to trainers before who used more punishment techniques and Lisa's approach makes me feel like I am truly strengthening the bond I have with Lillie. I cannot recommend Consummate Canine enough. This is where you should go if you need any dog training help!
I can not recommend Lisa enough. I have some health problems and wondered if my dog had the temperament to help me with some service work. I sent her two dogs and honestly didn't give her much direction on what I wanted. Before we met, she asked insightful questions to get to the heart of what I wanted and needed. She worked miracles with my little pack! She gives it to you straight, which I appreciate, and breaks everything down so no task seems impossible. Lisa taught me exactly what I need to do to have the help that I require. Since they've come home, I had a problem getting the attention of my girl in specific situations. When I discussed it with Lisa, she gave me an idea about what to do. It has worked like a charm each and every time that I do it. Plus, my dogs loved being with her and they really enjoy the follow-up training that we do together. It's wonderful to have someone with REAL knowledge and insight into the canine mind.
