We had such a great experience getting a haircut for our child! Xioma was patient, gentle, and really knew how to make kids feel comfortable. The cut came out super cute and exactly how we wanted it. They worked quickly but still paid attention to every detail. The whole place was clean, friendly, and very kid-friendly.

Had an appointment, came in from Oklahoma to see my grandson get his first haircut. Lady didn’t show up the people there were very rude and didn’t help with the anxiety of a one year old. Very disappointed. At least expected someone to acknowledge we were there. Stayed 30 minutes with now one even telling us how much longer it would be and we kept getting skipped for other kids. We just left.

Editing my review to 3 stars only for the fact the owner communicated with me and I could tell she cares about here business and customer service. I still stand by my opinion that it was chaos- but I learned it’s because they take appts but won’t turn away walk ins. This really affects the experience and the ability of the stylist to take their time and work with the kids. Had an appt at 1145; didn’t get seen until after 12. They were overbooked and over crowded. I also still stand by my opinion that the cutters weren’t kid friendly at all. I’ve been to many of these kids’ cut places; the staff here has to be the least kid friendly from any of them I’ve been too. This was 2nd time trying this place and we left the 1st visit without my kid getting a haircut bc the stylist didn’t try to work with him and wanted me to just hold him down. Today one stylist lady was literally holding a kids head to cut it instead of trying to distract or comfort the kid. I told the lady cutting my son’s hair that he gets impatient once hair gets on him and asked her to double cape him. The first cape she put on him already had hair on it and when he complained about having hair on him, she said well it’s a haircut place there’s hair everywhere. She said it doesn’t matter how much they clean there’s going to be hair- but it was on the cape she put on him (which should be clean). She didn’t double cape him like I asked just turned the cape around after already cutting some of his hair which just got more hair on him. I grabbed the cape that was covering another station and wrapped it around him as it was one that actually did a full wrap around inside of just fastens in the back. She also nicked my kid’s ear- which probably wasn’t on purpose but was a result of the chaos, rush and lack of patience for kids. And the stylist didn’t apologize for it. From reading the negative reviews, other parents/kids have similar experiences. There’s a kid’s cut place in Dickinson, with much more kid friendly staff that we’ll be sticking to.

The place is a little rough looking and could use some updates BUT my two toddlers love this place. From the play space to the cars, it’s a very kid friendly place. The workers have been very gentle and patient with my kids. My only annoyance is that I do feel like that they don’t follow appointment times. I’ll schedule an appointment at 9 am and won’t be seen until 9:20 am for example. I don’t know if that’s an issue because they accept walk ins. Regardless I will continue using their services because it’s the only place my kids will sit and get a haircut.
