Whenever I come to Cardiff there's one thing I look forward to more than anything... Being in walking distance to Corner Coffee. Got to be one of my favourite cafés anywhere in the world. The team here are personable, funny and professionals at making some outstanding coffee. My go to is a Flat White. Superb quality coffee and perfectly streamed milked that holds it's structure the whole way throughout your drink so it keeps it's luxurious feel, this is where most chain brews fail. My experience of the food is generally very positive. I've tried pretty much all the cakes here and none of them disappoint but the Biscoff Banana cake is a personal favourite. This morning was my first experience of their breakfast offering and I was very pleased. I can be an extra difficult man to please when it comes to the cooking of eggs at breakfast so it can be a risk when I order them, but lo, this morning I ordered the scrambled eggs on sourdough. I will openly admit I'm one of a minority of people in this country that loves my eggs the french way, yet I know that it's always extremely unlikely that I'll get them that way. I was correct here, however the texture of the eggs was light fluffy with just that touch of richness you should get from good scrambled eggs. The additions of the Chili flakes was great, I'm a big fan of Chili with eggs, it's a combo we don't do enough of in the UK. And finished with Basil oil, that provide lightness and almost a cleansing to the dish that balances all aspects beautifully. Very pleased. One final thing I love about this place is the availability of complimentary still water for customers, grab a glass and pour, unlike a chain that charges you for the privilege of providing it to you in a complete unnecessary and polluting single use plastic bottle! Keep up the great work, I look forward to many more visits.

This is such a charming spot for a coffee or a breakfast treat. They offer high-quality house blend coffee, and I had the pleasure of trying their Americano and mocha — both were delightful! While the breakfast menu is a bit limited, it still offers a lovely selection of options to choose from.

Service here was exceptional! The staff were so friendly and welcoming! Enjoyed the balsamic glaze with my avo on toast it was a nice touch! Just wish my egg wasn’t overcooked but lovely experience overall

nice little place in the centre of cardiff. only tried their coffees and can recommend the flat white! food looked very tasty. would definitely go back when in the area again

Great overall experience! Coffee tasted lovely! Staff were kind! Food was fresh and delicious. Pricing made sense!
