Ivan gave an excellent tour of the Fort Worth Stockyards. If you want to truly understand the history of the livestock industry of the stockyards, this is the way to do it. My husband and I really enjoyed the experience. We took the 10:00 a.m. tour, which ended right in front of the Fort Worth Exchange Building, perfect timing to watch the cattle drive that starts at 11:30. Highly recommend!
We joined the Cowtown Cattle Pen Maze walking tour through the Stockyards, and our guide Ivan was fantastic. He’s incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the Stockyards — the kind of guide who can bring a place to life with stories, context, and just the right amount of humor. His jokes and timing made the tour even more enjoyable, and you could tell he genuinely loves what he does. If you’re visiting the Stockyards and want to understand the real history behind all the dust, cattle, and cowboy lore, this walking tour is an absolute must-do. Highly recommended.
Ivan was an amazing guide! He was super knowledgeable, funny, and passionate about the history of the Stockyards. He shared tons of interesting stories and made the whole town come alive. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does and wants everyone to have a great time. Definitely do the walking tour — it’s such good bang for your buck and really brings the Stockyards to life! So worth it.
Baron was extremely informative with the information provided, definitely would recommend. Dylan was fabulous also. My parents and I did this and this was one of the best parts of our visit! Highly recommend
We had a great time. We didn’t make it long because we went at 3:30 in the afternoon and the sun was beating on us! The girls did love running around and reading all the signs getting them backwards!!!
