I had a wonderful experience at Craftex. The Christmas side is closed until sometime in June. Overall I was still able to find what I needed.
We purchased their best Christmas tree. In store it looked great. I opened the box to find it filled with cheap PVC needles. I closed the box and did not disturb the packaging. I went back to the store to look at the model tree. Approx. 10% of the outer/visible tips are cheap PVC. (100% of the center needles are PVC) You can't easily see it in store b/c of the lighting. Quailty trees are all PE, or PVC only in the center. They are selling mid-tier trees for top-tier prices. The tree never left the box, but they won't take it back. See the photos below. You can't see the notice the PVC needles in the model. In daylight (with lights off) you can see the lower quality.
Wow! Just wow! Love this place! This place always have those one of a kind decorations.
I must say this was very overwhelming for me. If Christmas is your jam and you live for holiday decor with all the glitz and glam, this is your heaven! I am a simple holiday individual. My friend who's in the picture has several trees. She was super excited. I felt like a toddler begging to go home🤣🤣🤣. Nonetheless this place has everything you need and what you didn't know you needed. It's very pretty inside. The staff is helpful as well. Be prepared to say excuse me on every aisle. I can only imagine what it must look like on the weekends. My suggestion is to go during the weekday when they first open. If you get overwhelmed like me, eat breakfast and drink coffee before you go. This place is great though.
I have heard for years about Craftex, but only with the last year had I visited the wonderful place. The variety of holiday decor is amazing. The workshops offered are filled with tons of information, tips and tricks for the professional and amateur decorator alike. The designers are all so willing to help and guide you as you make the workshop piece. Highly recommended for any that are wanting to learn how to make a home decor piece or take it to the next level!
